To be a beginner is to be in awe. It’s fun when you try something new, but sometimes we get so caught up in the routines of daily life that we stop searching for new experiences to spice up our lives and settle for less.
Rather than pose the skeptical question, “why would angels exist?” Why don’t we ask, “why would they not exist?”
When you see a busy person working diligently away, are they actually accomplishing anything?
Little white lies. We have all told them and probably more frequently than we realize.
We all depend on one another. We, who are living now, depend on those who have lived before, and those yet to live will depend on us when they arrive. Our own construcutive patient and persevering labour, no matter what that may be, will produce a world worth living in for those who follow.
It’s nice to have people agree with our opinions, it gives us self confidence to know that what we are contemplating in our lives is relevant and matters to someone else. When we disagree with someone we should do so with tact, especially our children.
Wouldn’t it be freeing not to have a care in the world, to let things come and go, to let everything and everybody just slip through your fingers and not hold onto anything?
Creative Visualization, is the title of a wonderful little book by Shakti Gawain. I am certain that this book finding me was one of those serendipidous moments when life jumps out in front of you; when timing aligns with your readiness to receive, and you are given a lead to follow.
If we truly detach from the outcome we will be able to enjoy the process without worry. And when our mind is free to create with pleasure, we will work efficiently and fluidly and our results will be ensured.
